Grooveyard worked with the IMRO Radio Awards Committee, IMRO and the BAI to create, organise and manage the IMRO Radio Awards 2020 in a virtual setting due to the restrictions in place for Covid-19.
The virtual awards need to be fun, entertaining and engaging to keep viewers at home tuned in and to in some way replicate the annual celebration which usually takes place in the Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny.

IMRO Radio Awards marks the very best in Irish radio broadcasting. They celebrate and recognise those who have made contributions to the industry throughout the past year.
WHAT WE DID
In preparation of the virtual awards, Grooveyard was responsible for the management of the entire awards process from setting up the online platform, assisting entrants with queries, managing judges and the entire judging process.
For the event itself Grooveyard managed the design and delivery of a branded virtual presentation including motion graphics which showcased the shortlisted finalists and winners of the 41 awards including the design and logistics management .
We were responsible for coordinating and managing all the entertainment including performances from top Irish artists and a selection of messages including one from President Michael D. Higgins.
