SciFest is the largest second-level STEM fair programme in Ireland. Grooveyard worked with the SciFest team to organise and run the SciFest National Final 2020. The SciFest National Final was adapted to an entirely virtual event in 2020 consisting of a 3 day conference, project showcase and live awards.

The SciFest team wanted to team up with Grooveyard to make it a high end experience for all attendees and have the same value to attendees and partners as a live event

SciFest Virtual Event Platform

To showcase and celebrate the students who have succeeded in making it to the SciFest National Final.

Grooveyard built and designed a customised virtual event platform where attendees could log on via the Virtual Event platform to discover information regarding the projects, ScifFest and their partners and watch the live stream.

The Virtual Event was a three day event which was hosted by Philip Smyth. The programme was packed with panel discussions and presentations featuring Prof. Luke O’Neill, Dr Norah Patten and many more.

The event consisted of pre-recorded videos, live streams and a live awards ceremony to close out the event. As part of the show we had winners appear live on air to chat with our host Philip Smyth after the winners were announced.

Grooveyard provided full event management and production of a high end virtual event including securing a suitable event platform to ensure a seamless experience and facilitation of interaction between participants while providing exceptional customer service throughout and delivery on a detailed running order.
