JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting directly to a Senior Account Manager
Attract and interview new personnel to join brand ambassador teams
Co-ordination and booking of staff – nationwide
Development, implementation and logistical coordination of promotional campaigns
Sourcing of uniforms and supplies
Report generation – written & photographic
Development and management of personnel liaison at all points and stages of campaigns
Ensure day to day running of campaigns
Work along with side team on all campaigns from initial concept, pitch process, implementation, management, post-campaign analysis, feedback and reporting
On-site management of both large and medium scale events and activations

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

3rd level degree/ Accredited 3rd level cert/ diploma in Marketing
Knowledge of and passion for experiential marketing campaigns and events
Proven ability to work as a team player within a fast paced and challenging environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint
Excellent people skills
At least one years experience in an office environment
Full driving licence required
Good report/proposal writing skills & command of English
Excellent communication skills
Highly organised & efficient
Pro-active & motivated
A logistical thinker & problem solver
Punctual
Possess a very keen attention for detail
A flair for innovation and creativity

Due to continued expansion Grooveyard Event Management are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join an existing team. Reporting to the Account Director the successful candidate will work alongside the Grooveyard team on a range of events from initial proposal stage through to the concept development process, the planning, implementation and live event delivery and post event analysis.

THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Account Director, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • End-to-End Event Management: Lead the planning, logistics, and on-site execution of large and medium-scale events, conferences, awards ceremonies, and events.
  • Client Relationship Management: Directly manage client relationships, overseeing the procurement and contracting of third-party suppliers to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Budget Accountability: Take ownership of event budgets, diligently tracking expenditures to ensure optimal value for clients.
  • Project Timeline Management: Maintain project timelines and navigate deadlines to meet clients’ needs efficiently and effectively.
  • Independent Decision-Making: Display autonomy and rapid decision-making abilities to ensure successful project outcomes regardless of time constraints.
  • Team Leadership: While reporting to the Event Director demonstrate leadership within a team of account managers and account executives, fostering collaboration across projects.

 

REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of four years’ experience at senior agency level

3rd level degree ideally in a related field, alternatively accredited 3rd level cert/Diploma in events or marketing

Demonstrated success in conceiving, executing, and managing events of various scales is essential.
