WHY
To deliver an engaging and memorable outdoor family day event for employees, followed by a gala evening event in Citywest, which centred on participation, inclusion and recognition of all children, employees and the family as an unit.
WHO
2000 employees and their families. 50% of attendees were children under 12 years.
WHAT WE DID
Grooveyard provided a full 360 degree solution for the family day event which included venue selection, an online RSVP ticketing and data management system, full event management plans as well as Health and Safety documentation, weather contingency plans, full build and production of Family Fun day, selection and co-ordination of over 35 third party suppliers.Temporary structures were utilised for the entire event as this was on a green field site. Additional ancillary services were all brought on site for this day-long event.
We installed our highly creative and interactive entertainment zones for magic, science and hands on creative activities on the grounds of Carton House. Entertainers roamed the venue, whilst local school choirs and cover bands to kept the crowd entertained throughout the day. Later that evening, all guests were transported to the second venue for a night time family friendly event including a 4 course meal, interactive kids zone for the children and live music & entertainment for the adults. Grooveyard managed the accommodation requirements for all attendees.

RESULTS
Grooveyard were able to deliver a colourful & fun family day event for all 2000 employees transforming both venues within a strict 6 hour window. Working with such tight deadlines, it opened our eyes to what can be achieved and showed us that we can make the impossible possible.
