WHERE

WHY

To directly engage consumers and invite and encourage them to participate in the evolution of a brand. To maximize ROI on festival sponsorship and increase footfall and dwell time at the E-lites area.

WHO

35,000 Festival Goers.

WHAT WE DID

Grooveyard oversaw the installation of three large temporary structures site in Stradbally in preparation for the E-Lites zone or festival destination point. Once the domes were in place, we utilised cutting edge technology to create an immersive & fun area for our client at Electric Picnic. This involved the development of fully branded one-of-a-kind engagement pieces such as the E-Curv bike, a virtual reality stimulator, the E-Lites Mash Machine offering festival goers a do-it-yourself DJ-ing experience, and the installation of branded phone charging stations all of which made it an attractive area for the festival goers to congregate.

High profile DJ John Gibbons played along side live musicians  adding to the festival atmosphere. Brand Ambassadors played a key part in this as they encouraged people to connect and experience the brand in the sampling and experiential domes. All of this activity was recorded and amplified through social media using a bespoke branded photo app.

Outside the domes, Grooveyard erected a 15 metre LED Screen the E-Lites area and secured the rights to broadcast all of the weekend’s high profile sporting fixtures. At one point we recorded over 15,000 people at our clients experiential zone.
