Event Management and Production for the inaugural NB Live Showcase event, a daytime educational showcase event for hairdressing industry professionals and influencers with evening gala dinner event.

To provide a platform for National Beauty haircare brands to educate and showcase their products to haircare professionals, inspire them with the latest hair industry trends and celebrate them, with a chance to come together for an afterparty and celebrate them as customers of National Beauty.

what we did
GY was briefed to recreate ‘New York fashion week for haircare,’transforming the traditional conference space in the Lyrath Hotel into a premium, adaptable and stylish setting to showcase the latest hair industry trends.
Using two 3m x7m LED screens left and right, with a central narrower screen positioned to create a stage entrance, GY transformed the room to create a visually impactful catwalk runway, in addition to an 8m wide stage for product demonstrations and on-stage styling. Using black drape and a high gloss floor, GY transformed the room into a dark, atmospheric space that allowed each of the 7 haircare brands featured in the showcase to tailor the lighting, music and video content on-screen to their unique brand personalities, giving a dynamic and varied experience for attendees.
For the attendees, GY managed a seamless event experience from registration through to evening gala dinner, with impactful branding, decor, entertainment and overall on-the-day event management.
